The Bardia National Park is the largest national park for the protection wildlife with an area of 968 Sq kilometers. Declared as a wildlife reserve and the National park in 1988, later it was expanded to present area it has. Located in far west of Nepal, it is best known for the Tigers, wild elephant and black buck. The national park is bordered by River Karnali in the west, the Churia range in the north and River Babai flows right through the park. The park covers most of the area with of Sal, Savannah forests, grasslands and people in the buffer zone.

Bardia National Park’s main area known as the Babai Valley rich in vegetation and is home to endangered animals like the Royal Bangal tiger, famous one-horned rhinoceros and some largest Asian wild elephants. The lush tropical jungle park is home to 53 different mammals, more than 400 species of birds, and several varieties of reptiles and water animals. We will be exploring this wild area to see these beautiful wild animals and birds. We will also take a walk around the local village mostly lived by the ethnic Tharu people and be part of their cultural show.

Our itinerary for Bardia national park tour takes you by flight to Nepaljung and then drive to the park. We choose the highest standard lodges for best and memorable wild life experience. We will take you for sighting of fresh-water Gangetic dolphin, which is also commonly seen in the River Karnali.
