Dhauagiri circuit trek is one of the best trekking route in Nepal. Burtibang is the starting point of the trek, it is 7/8 hours rough road drive from Pokhara. The landscape of Dhaulagiri circuit trek is very beautiful, wild and adventures. Passing through villages and then to beautiful Bamboo, pine forest, it gets wilder and adventurous as the trail goes higher. There are very basic and few lodges that make noodles and Dal Bhat (rice and soup) up to Italian camp. From Italian camp onward route of Dhaulagiri trek is more like alpine trek, there is no civilization until Marpha, most of the trail gets rocky. Camping walking and spending nights for 4 days on glacier and next to massive and majestic Dhaulagiri is unbelievable. There are few places where people have to watch where we walk through moraine/ glacier. We have to cross over two passes, the pass scenery is totally different and breathtaking. This trek is amazing for adventures people because of the challenges and rocky place you can be at.
